Live Aboard Catamaran Sailing Course
Our Live Aboard Catamaran Sailing Course combines the thrill of a sailing adventure with a hands-on learning experience. Catamarans provide the ideal on-water classroom, offering plenty of space and stability while sailing from bay to bay or island to island in the stunning Caribbean. With a focus on practical skills, this course is perfect for both beginners and those looking to advance their sailing knowledge.
You will live aboard our spacious catamaran, where the airy salon with 360° visibility creates a perfect setting for pre-sail classroom sessions and after-sail relaxation. Each day you’ll sail and navigate through various islands, putting into practice all that you’ve learned. And because this is a true live aboard experience, students also learn the essentials of onboard living, including meal preparation. Instructors are there to guide, not to cook—students will share galley duties and learn to prepare meals aboard the catamaran.
Certification Options
This week-long live aboard course is designed for different levels of sailing experience:
- Competent Crew Participants: You’ll gain the skills necessary to be an active, useful crew member. Topics include basic sea terms, sail handling, ropework, safety equipment, emergency procedures, and seamanship. ($300)
- Day Skipper Participants: For those with prior sailing experience, this course will enhance your pilotage, boat handling, navigation, and leadership skills, giving you the confidence to skipper or charter a yacht in familiar waters. ($500)

What’s Included:
- Accommodation aboard a spacious catamaran for 7 nights
- Learning materials and equipment
- Instruction and hands-on sailing practice
What’s Not Included: Marina fees (except the first and last night), port fees for surrounding islands, and cruising permits. Estimated costs for Anguilla or St. Barts nights are around $200.
What to Bring:
A detailed packing list will be provided in your confirmation email. Items include essentials for living aboard and sailing gear. Don’t forget to review the terms and conditions, and consider travel insurance for your adventure.
